invoiceAgent strengthens support for digital invoicing; Enhanced functionality for sending and receiving through Peppol to reduce workload through data collaboration between companies

WingArc1st Inc. releases the latest version of invoiceAgent, an electronic form platform, with enhanced features on 18 July.

In response to urgent issues being faced by businesses, such as the fact that approximately 70% of business users feel that tools are not consistent in their external transactions involving invoices and contracts, (*1) as well as in response to the invoice system that will take effect this October, InvoiceAgent will implement a function for sending and receiving invoice data in Peppol format. Peppol is the standard for electronic invoices traded among companies. This will enable hybrid operations via web delivery in addition to the mailing services that have been offered to date. In addition, by implementing a function to assist in determining whether received invoices meet the requirements of "qualified invoices", the system will reduce the burden of sorting invoices.

invoiceAgent can be started on a small scale without making major changes to current operations. It enables digitization with a view to improving not only the operational efficiency of the companies that have introduced it, but also the operational efficiency of business-to-business transactions, including those with business partners.

Support for sending and receiving through Peppol: ・Free Peppol ID registration via our website or service screen. (*2) ・Batch distribution in Peppol format available by submitting billing data in CSV format. (*3)  ・Receiving in Peppol format allows for more efficient workflow and ERP-integrated operations. (*4) Others: ・Enables business partners to comply with the Electronic Books Preservation Act. ・Improved usability through simplified settings for bulk distribution.

invoiceAgent Documents

Qualified invoice determination function expanded in accordance with the implementation of the invoice system ・Support added for data conversion of qualified invoices: verification of qualified invoicing business number on invoices, automatic completion of corporate name and business name from business number, automatic completion of business number from corporate name and business name. ・Support added for verification of required fields on received qualified invoices. Please note that human verification is still required to confirm the results are consistent with the actual deal.

Peppol (Pan European Public Procurement Online) is a global standard specification for a network of document specification operating rules for exchanging electronic documents such as invoices over a network, and is managed by OpenPeppol, a Belgian international non-profit organization. It is currently in use in more than 30 countries, including not only European countries but also countries outside Europe such as Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. The Japanese administration is the Digital Agency, and JP PINT is the standard specification for digital invoices exchanged between the seller's access point (C2) and the buyer's access point (C3).
