■Peppol addresses inconsistencies between tools

With the spread of electronic transactions across organizations, using inconsistent tools has become an issue (*1). This can lead to disparate business processes, as well as introducing errors, and is a concern for many companies. The increasing complexity and burden on back-office departments is also an urgent issue.

Inconsistent tools mean that the recipient needs to support multiple tools to meet customer and partner requirements. The major advantage of transferring and receiving via Peppol is that these different tools can be managed in a unified manner.
