Miyagi Daiichi Shinkin Bank enables cross-branch sales activity data utilization with MotionBoard and Dr.Sum

Sales Representative Daily Report visualizes outreach activities, enabling centralized management and paperless operation for nearly 100 reports

WingArc1st Inc.

WingArc1st Inc. announces that Miyagi Daiichi Shinkin Bank has introduced the data management platform Dr.Sum and the data application platform MotionBoard, which combines BI and AI, to construct a sales activity visualization dashboard. The Sales Representative Daily Report links data from the sales support system and the core banking system.

Miyagi Daiichi Shinkin Bank constructed the Sales Representative Daily Report as the first step in an initiative to centrally manage and visualize nearly 100 reports that had been scattered across various departments. It is now possible to compare and analyze each sales representative's number of visits and activity details, as well as performance by branch, across all branches. Operations began on October 1, 2026, paper circulation was abolished, and all staff can now check sales activities and performance from their PCs

■ Background of Introduction
Miyagi Daiichi Shinkin Bank, affectionately known as Miyashin, is a Shinkin bank that upholds the philosophy of cooperative regional development. This year, it celebrates its 75th anniversary, and the opening of a new headquarters and main branch office is planned for the spring of 2027. Amid intensifying competition surrounding regional financial institutions, the bank has aimed to increase the time spent with customers through operational efficiency improvements driven by DX.

With the introduction of the Area Power sales support system in 2024, sales representatives became able to input visit and negotiation details via tablets, advancing the efficiency of sales activities. However, while activities at individual branches could be viewed, cross-branch comparisons and analysis were not possible. To see the situation across all branches, headquarters staff had to extract data, process it in Excel, and print and distribute it. The number of reports managed individually by each department using Excel and Access reached nearly 100, so there was a clear requirement for central management and distribution.

Dr.Sum and MotionBoard were introduced to solve these issues, with their ability to intuitively represent data in various forms such as graphs and tables being key reasons for their selection.

■ Introduction Effects
The first project undertaken was the sales representative daily report. Sales activity data is automatically linked to Dr.Sum, and the number of visits and activity details for each sales representative, as well as performance by branch, are displayed in a list in MotionBoard. By designing it not just as a replacement for daily reports, but to allow comparison of figures between branches and between individuals and the entire branch, the goal was to create an environment where management and staff can discuss while looking at the same data. Deposit and loan data from SK-Force, a service for Shinkin banks that are members of the Shinkin Kyodo Center, is also combined via Dr.Sum, enabling more multifaceted analysis.

Development was carried out in-house, and while consulting with WingArc and utilizing the customer success site and AI assistant, automatic linkage between SK-Force and Dr.Sum was done even without database knowledge.

Integrate information from Area Power to visualize case information, number of visits, and memos for each sales representative on a dashboard.

The daily sales report system was launched on October 1, 2026. After the release, paper-based circulation was abolished, allowing all staff to check sales activities and performance from their PCs. A dashboard for management to check the progress of budget vs. actual results is under development, and requests for new dashboards are also being received from other departments.
