NS Solutions integrates AI agents with SVF Cloud to automate the estimation process

WingArc1st Inc. announces that NS Solutions Corporation (NSSOL) has built an estimation agent that integrates Salesforce's AI agent platform, Agentforce, with WingArc's cloud form service, SVF Cloud for Salesforce (SVF Cloud), as part of a middle office project aimed at improving the efficiency of the sales department.

As a result, we have reduced the estimation creation workload, which previously took up to one hour per case, and automated the process from creation to delivery, achieving business improvements that bring lead times as close to zero as possible. 

Background
NSSOL, a comprehensive system integrator of the Nippon Steel Group, has set forth a vision for 2030, aiming to be a Social Value Producer with Digital, and is promoting co-creation utilizing digital technologies to create new value ecosystems. The middle office project launched in October 2024, aiming to reduce administrative workload for the sales team so they could focus on their primary duties such as customer proposals. The core theme of this project is the automation of the estimation process.

The traditional estimation process faced the following challenges due to human workload and speed:

  • Increased administrative burden: It took 30 minutes to 1 hour to create an estimate per case, resulting in a massive administrative workload for over 500 companies each month.
  • Extended lead times: Approval flows based on the estimated amount were delayed, requiring a minimum of 1 to 2 business days for delivery.
  • Task dependency on individuals: The process was even more complicated for products requiring vendor inquiries.

To solve these challenges and achieve speedy and accurate estimate provision, automation through AI and cloud-based form output infrastructure was decided upon.

      Points of Adoption
      SVF Cloud was adopted to deliver company-wide AI utilization and respond quickly to changes.

      Key reasons for its adoption included:

      • Compatibility with Agentforce: As an add-on tool, data mapping is easy, significantly reducing the development workload for forms.
      • Rapid development: Intuitive GUI-based operations allow for the direct reproduction of existing form layouts, enabling quick development without changing operations.
      • High adaptability to changes: Flexibility to respond to detailed modification requests from the field within about a day.

       Effects of Implementation
      Starting from August 2025, SVF Cloud was introduced for a select group of customers, achieving the following effects:

      • Reduction of man-hours and improved focus on core business: The estimation process has been reduced to nearly zero, creating an environment where sales representatives and approvers can concentrate on high-value-added tasks.
      • Reduction of lead time: By allowing customers to select necessary items from the AI chat on the portal site and automatically issue estimates directly, we have minimized waiting times.
      • Balancing governance and accuracy: We have established a system to prevent erroneous issuance through limitations on the scope of automatic issuance, application of approved menus, and visualization of processing content.

       Future Plan
      In the future, we plan to expand the range of products handled, deploy to other group companies, and automate the renewal estimates for subscription contracts. Additionally, we aim to leverage the latest insights gained from using AI ourselves as a competitive advantage in proposals to customers.
