In recent years, there has been growing concern that adult and young people are increasingly turning to eating out and instant foods. This trend has led to a decline in the consumption of vegetables and fruits.

The MAFF believes it is important to promote food education (Shokuiku) to improve these dietary habits. To this end, it certifies organizations that provide healthy meals to their employees and implement and evaluate initiatives aimed at improving dietary habits as Excellent Corporates of Shokuiku.

■Key Points
A farming experience through remote work. Building connections through cherry tomatoes
To foster greater interest in food among employees working remotely, we launched an initiative to send cherry tomato seedlings and soil to their homes, aiming to increase their engagement with food through the process of growing and harvesting. By utilizing our chat tool, dejiren, to share updates on the plants' growth, we successfully boosted communication. This initiative not only sparked a greater interest in food but also helped foster communication not only among employees but also with their families.

■Our Health Initiatives
We have established a dedicated health management organization, the Wellness Promotion Office and are working to embed health initiatives throughout the company by planning and promoting them through a cross-departmental Wellness Committee.

We conduct health consultations for all employees with our occupational physicians and public health nurses, and our consultation rate is 100%. This helps us manage the health of our team members in a remote work environment and enables the early detection of mental health issues.

Furthermore, the Wellness Committee, which also serves as the Health and Safety Committee, plans health initiatives using our own products, such as the Company-wide Walking Event and Wellness Exercises. Under the slogan Health Promotion × Communication, the entire company is working together as one to achieve these goals.
