WingArc1st and Cybertrust collaborate to build a digital trust infrastructure for the AI era

Ensuring the safety of automated processing through AI and promoting advanced inter-company transactions via high-authenticity data distribution

WingArc1st Inc.
Cybertrust Japan Co., Ltd.

WingArc1st Inc. and Cybertrust Japan have agreed to collaborate to promote the domestic adoption of trust services such as eSeal and electronic signatures *1 and to build digital trust infrastructure suitable for the AI era.

Through this collaboration, the companies will technically guarantee the authenticity of various forms and documents generated in commercial transactions, preventing impersonation and tampering. Ensuring safe data distribution is a prerequisite for AI-driven automatic analysis and data processing.

Both companies will achieve a balance between legal reliability and operational efficiency in the complete paperless transformation of inter-company transactions. This will help achieve an advanced data utilization society suited for the AI era through the establishment of trust infrastructure compliant with global standards.

■Background
While the digitalization of inter-company transactions and DX is accelerating, the use of AI technologies, including generative AI, for business automation is rapidly advancing. In the modern era where AI processes vast amounts of data at high speed and makes autonomous decisions, technically proving the authenticity of data and preventing impersonation and tampering has become an essential condition for safely utilizing AI.

Additionally, in March 2025, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications established regulations regarding certification activities, such as eSeal, and preparations are underway for the launch of a certification system for authorities that issue certificates for eSeal aimed at safe data distribution.

Companies and organizations promoting DX are also required to take measures to ensure the authenticity of electronic forms, invoices, certificates, etc., and the expansion of trust services is anticipated.

■Initiatives of Both Companies
WingArc provides a digital form platform as well as a timestamp service certified by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Trustee Timestamping proves the issuance and creation time of electronic documents, aimed at ensuring their reliability in inter-company transactions.

Cybertrust offers a long-term signature compatible iTrust Remote Signature Service, which ensures the long-term authenticity of electronic documents, as well as iTrust eSeal certificates issued only to strictly vetted organizations.

As private companies responding to the eSeal certification system promoted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, both organizations will collaborate on their respective technologies, knowledge, and services to promote the spread of digital trust infrastructure that balances "safe handling of data" and "advanced automation" in the AI era.

Specifically, by using the eSeal certificates issued by Cybertrust for the digital forms issued from WingArc's form platform, we aim to achieve proof of issuance and ensure authenticity, developing services that guarantee the authenticity of digital forms.

■Future Prospects
WingArc's digital form platform, SVF, and digital trust-related products will be integrated at the platform level with Cybertrust's iTrust Remote Signature Service and iTrust eSeal certificates to promote the implementation of trust service functions and technical verification. The new service is scheduled to be launched by WingArc in the summer of 2026 as a foundational step towards supporting safe data distribution in the AI era.
