Release of HeatBoard to visualize heat conditions across the country with the new MotionBoard

WingArc1st Inc. will be releasing HeatBoard (using MotionBoard) to visualize heat status' in Japan. This is currently under development and should be available during the summer period (from 26 June to 30 September 2025).

HeatBoard is a dashboard that visualizes Japan's current, past, and future heat status' in summer, based on data from the Japan Meteorological Agency. This is a digital platform that aims to enable anyone to intuitively understand temperature data and raise awareness of climate change.

■Main Features

Weather forecast	Shows the weather forecast for the selected area over the next few days.
Heat map	Heat situations across the country are visualized on a map of Japan, color-coded by temperature zone. The ability to zoom in and out with the mouse wheel is available.
Heat ranking	A list of the heat rankings in Japan.
Heat calendar	Heat conditions over the past few hundred summers are shown, allowing you to see how the conditions have changed over time. Hover your mouse over it to see additional information.
Trivia	Generating AI will provide commentary on interesting facts about extreme heat and climate change.

■How to use HeatBoard

1．Access the board from the link.

Recommendation: Access the board using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome on your PC.

2．Select your region from the tabs on the top left.
Please note that the region selected is based on data from the Japan Meteorological Agency, so not all regional information may be reflected.

3．Try to show various data.
