Cloud-based vehicle dispatch platform, IKZO Online, now available to non-contracted partner transport companies

- Data sharing between companies across a multi-tiered subcontracting structure allows shippers to know when drivers are waiting and when they are handling cargo -

WingArc1st Inc.

WingArc1st Inc. has enhanced the functionality of its cloud-based vehicle dispatch platform, IKZO Online, to make it available to drivers of uncontracted partner transport companies. The expanded service will be available from 11 June.

Transport partner companies that have not yet signed an IKZO Online contract can now enter their individually issued ID and password to access the transport partner company's dedicated website. There, they can download case information, transport application forms, work requests, etc., respond to transport acceptance requests, enter/change vehicle number contact information, and enter contract hierarchy details. In addition, drivers from non-contracted cooperating transport companies can access IKZO Online's "Driver Report Page" using the QR code displayed on the work report, and can view transport information from their smartphone's web browser as well as submit performance reports, such as indicating when they are waiting for cargo and carrying out loading and unloading work.

According to national estimates, there is a possibility of a transportation capacity shortfall of approximately 34% in fiscal year 2030 (*1), and there is a need for improvements to logistics efficiency. In order to restore transportation capacity, it is necessary to correct the multi-tiered subcontracting structure and establish a system for collecting fair freight charges. It is also important to improve loading efficiency and reduce waiting and loading times, by understanding the actual work performed by subcontracted drivers at logistics sites.

This functionality was enhanced in response to requests from manufacturers to connect with cooperating transport companies beyond the second-tier subcontractors.

With this enhanced functionality, data will be connected across multiple levels of companies, including general contractors, first-tier contractors, second-tier contractors and beyond, making it possible to share data between companies throughout a multi-tiered subcontracting structure. Shippers will be able to manage the work status of drivers from cooperating transport companies. By ordering through IKZO Online, you can centralize the documenting of multi-stage transportation contracts as required by the two new logistics laws. The system also assists with the creation of a transportation system management book (automatically displaying the contract hierarchy), and the management of waiting time and loading/unloading time at the logistics site, as well as billing based on actual results, thereby streamlining logistics operations in the supply chain.

The benefits of IKZO Online: Connecting the flow of trade from shippers to drivers with data:
- Digitalization of logistics transactions between companies (project management, vehicle dispatch, operation management, freight adjustment, billing and payment)
- Automatic calculation of contract hierarchy is possible
- Waiting time and loading/unloading time can be reported to the shipper in real time
- By understanding the work time, it is possible to adjust fares and fees based on the actual results.
