WingArc1st to start offering collaboration solutions between MotionBoard, Dr.Sum, Saison Technology's HULFT Square

WingArc1st Inc. and Saison Technology Co., Ltd. are pleased to announce that they will begin offering a collaboration solution between WingArc1st's BI dashboard, MotionBoard Cloud, and data analysis platform, Dr.Sum Cloud, and Saison Technology's Japanese iPaaS cloud-based data integration platform, HULFT Square on 9 October.

This allows internal data from on-premises and legacy systems to be collected via HULFT Square, and the data can be integrated and analyzed using Dr.Sum, and then visualized in real time using MotionBoard. This reduces the amount of work required to integrate data in the information systems department by 95% (*1), and promotes data utilization in field departments.

■Background
In recent years, many companies have been working on digital transformation (DX) aimed at reforming their operations and business. Approximately 80% of Japanese companies (*2) are either in the process of utilizing or considering utilizing data held inside and outside the company across the entire company or within business divisions or departments, showing a high level of interest in utilizing data. However, in order to utilize data that is scattered across various systems, such as in-house legacy systems and business-related SaaS, the information systems department often needs to collect and link the data as a preparatory step, which means the time, development effort, and cost required before the business department can actually begin analyzing the data are an obstacle.

■Overview of Collaborative Solution
The collaboration solution announced this time provides an application template (*4) on HULFT Square free of charge, which allows data interoperability between MotionBoard, a BI tool with the largest market share in Japan (*3), Dr.Sum, a data analysis platform that enables integration and utilization of large volumes of data, and HULFT Square, a cloud-based data collaboration platform.

HULFT Square collects and processes data from on-premises systems such as mainframes, UNIX/Linux and Windows, as well as SaaS, without any coding required. By using data integration scripts with Dr.Sum and MotionBoard packaged as templates, data collection can be automated and the workload of the information systems department can be reduced (*1). In addition, no-code development will promote data utilization with Dr.Sum and MotionBoard led by business departments such as corporate planning and sales/marketing.

■Future outlook
Through this partnership, Saison Technology and WingArc1st will further deepen their collaboration and support customers in utilizing data and transforming their businesses while maximizing the value of information.
