COSMONET Saves 815 hours of work per Month by Implementing MotionBoard and Dr.Sum

WingArc1st Inc. is pleased to announce that COSMONET CO., LTD. (COSMONET), an ICT service provider, has implemented a BI dashboard and data analysis platform using MotionBoard Cloud (MotionBoard) and Dr.Sum Cloud (Dr.Sum). The system promotes DX by streamlining sales management operations and digitizing store operations, resulting in a reduction of 815 hours of work per month.

■Background
COSMONET, which operates more than 400 cell phone stores and corporate sales offices nationwide, was experiencing an increase in the volume of data related to sales, expenses, and customers due to business growth. In addition to the burden of transcribing data through paper-based analog operations at the stores, the data was stored across the company as systems were introduced in each department, and the burden of collecting performance data through Excel was increasing.
The main reasons for introducing MotionBoard and Dr.Sum were:

■Effects of Introduction
The sales performance dashboard was released in December 2022. With the new system, data can be output using RPA, imported into Dr.Sum, processed, and consolidated for visualization on MotionBoard. This has enabled easy understanding of daily performance and has led to a 600-hour reduction in monthly work compared to the previous process of manually inputting performance data into an Excel file at each store, tabulating the data by store group, and then recalculating the data at a higher level.
In addition, MotionBoard, which is a BI tool that allows data entry, was used to develop a business application for the iPad and build a customer information entry screen. This has enabled the digitalization of customer data, including customer signatures. As a result, a mechanism has been established whereby transaction details, including customer data, customer signatures and terminal device information, are stored in a database in Dr.Sum via MotionBoard. For the transfer certificate to be given to the customer, the data in Dr.Sum can now be read and forms can be printed from MotionBoard, saving an additional 215 hours per month.
