WingArc1st, Zeroboard and Suzuyo Shoji Sign Basic Agreement for Collaboration on Greenhouse Gas Emissions Data

On 26 June 2024, WingArc1st Inc., Zeroboard Inc., and Suzuyo Shoji Co., Ltd. signed a basic agreement to collaborate on GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions data. This agreement will enable mutual sharing of GHG emissions data between EcoNiPass and Zeroboard.



EcoNiPass is a CO2 emissions visualization platform jointly provided by Suzuyo Shoji and WingArc1st. The strength of the system is that it is low-cost and includes a plan for suppliers to share CO2 emissions data with their business partners. For this reason, it is being adopted mainly by small and midsize companies that have difficulty allocating budgets to decarbonization efforts.

Zeroboard is a GHG emissions calculation and visualization solution that has been adopted by companies of various sizes, mainly manufacturing companies with group companies and supply chains in Japan and overseas. Zeroboard has been highly rated by companies that work on refining and upgrading data as well as calculating their carbon footprint (CFP) (*1) from Scope 1 to 3 (*2). In addition to providing the system, Zeroboard also provides know-how and expertise in decarbonization management, such as support for emissions calculations and reduction activities.

Zeroboard Overview
Zeroboard is a solution that supports the calculation, disclosure, and reduction of GHG emissions. In addition to calculating and visualizing domestic and international supply chain emissions and emissions by product and service (Carbon Footprint: CFP) on the cloud, it is also possible to register avoided emissions and water resources, and it can output various reports. (*1) CFP: Abbreviation for Carbon Footprint of Products. The greenhouse gas emissions emitted throughout the entire life cycle of a product or service, from raw material procurement to disposal and recycling, converted into CO2.

(*2) Scope 1: Direct emissions from a company's own business activities, Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the use of electricity, heat, and steam supplied by other companies, Scope 3: Emissions from the supply chain (other companies) related to business activities other than those mentioned above.
