Valqua, Ltd. has implemented Dr.Sum Cloud as an HR data integration platform for 15 group companies

WingArc1st Inc. is pleased to announce that Valqua, Ltd. has implemented the data analysis platform Dr.Sum Cloud for HR data integration across 15 group companies, including domestic and overseas companies.

Founded in 1927, Valqua is a leading manufacturer of sealing materials such as industrial packing and gaskets, dealing with material products such as fluoropolymers and high-performance rubbers for industrial use. Around 2000, the company started a new pillar of business that includes engineering services associated with these hardware products, and is now also working on higher value-added digital services through DX.  

The company, which has 15 affiliated companies in Japan and abroad, implemented Dr. Sum Cloud to enhance group human resource management and to comply with legal revisions that will make the disclosure of human capital information mandatory for listed companies and others starting with the fiscal year ending 31 March 2023.  

In September 2023, the company began operating an integrated HR data platform in Japan. This enables efficient compilation and output of human capital disclosure data, and streamlines the conventional Excel-based data compilation process. The company plans to start using the platform across the entire group, including overseas, by the end of FY2024. It is promoting wide usage of HR data to encourage further business growth for the entire group, including utilization of data for human capital disclosure, optimal allocation of human resources, and enhancement of HR strategies.
