WingArc1st to achieve ISO 30414 certification

WingArc1st Inc. will obtain ISO 30414 certification, the international standard for human capital disclosure. It will publish its Human Capital Report on 31 January 2024.

WingArc1st Inc. will be the first company in the information and telecommunications industry in Japan to obtain this certification, and the 9th in Asia, including Japan.


■Background of ISO 30414 Acquisition
Under our vision of "Empower Data, Innovate the Business, Shape the Future," we promote the creation of an environment where our most important asset, our employees, can work while achieving autonomous growth. We consider every employee to be our greatest asset, and we aim to create an environment in which individuals and the organization are united in their goals and continue to grow together, based on the following four policies:

1) Penetration of our Vision and Core values throughout the organization
2) Strategic investment in human resources and support for autonomous growth
3) Work styles that maximize the performance of diverse employees
4) Increased engagement

In March 2023, the Securities Report was revised to require listed companies to disclose information on human capital. This has prompted us to focus on ISO 30414, which provides guidelines for internal and external human capital reporting. Our goal is to standardize the calculation of our personnel data, which has previously tended to rely on the intuition and experience of managers.

In the future, we will integrate and visualize personnel data from multiple systems by using our data analysis platform, Dr.Sum, and our BI dashboard, MotionBoard. We aim to build a data platform that will be the cornerstone of human capital management, enabling prompt detection of issues and decision making.

■ISO 30414
Guidelines for disclosure of information on human capital established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2018. It provides international indicators for companies to quantify, analyze, visualize, and disclose human capital related to class members, covering 58 indicators in 11 categories.

In Japan, the certification is conducted by HC Produce Co., Ltd. which is the only independent auditing organization in Japan.
