Business alliance between WingArc Shanghai and Shanghai Certification Authority Entering the CNY 23.6 billion e-signature market

WingArc1st Inc. is pleased to announce a business alliance between its subsidiary WingArc Shanghai Inc. and Shanghai Electronic Certification Authority Co., Ltd. (Shanghai CA), provider of the electronic signature platform Letusign (大家签) in China.

Established in 1998 with the joint approval of the Central Cryptographic Guidance Group and the Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai CA is the first certification authority in China to provide electronic authentication, digital signatures, digital seals, and password application services for government agencies, corporate organizations, and individual users. It is also a leading issuer of electronic certificates with operations throughout China and has been certified to many international standards.

WingArc Shanghai provides an electronic forms platform, invoiceAgent, and develops document management solutions for various industries and applications. Examples include electronic contract solutions, store management documentation for the retail industry, shipping instruction management for the warehouse industry, and design drawings and form management for the manufacturing industry.

The size of China's e-signature market is expected to grow significantly from CNY 850 million in 2016 to reach CNY 23.6 billion by 2023(*). This partnership will meet the needs of the Chinese e-signature market by enabling WingArc Shanghai to provide an entire range of solutions, from the creation, processing and management and operation of traditional forms to electronic signatures on documents with guaranteed reliability and evidence preservation.

As a recent example, a major retail chain store in China, which operates several thousand stores, has implemented the invoiceAgent Documents e-contract solution for the approval of store sales reports and sales contracts with suppliers, and has seen a significant reduction in the cost and time required for printing and mailing each document, as well as in the workload of personnel during peak month-end periods.

WingArc Shanghai will further collaborate with Shanghai CA to promote the digitalization and innovation of enterprises in China.
